Try my new favorite dessert!! S'mores Bars!!
Recipe & Pic below. I used brown sugar instead(less than 1/3 too), almost a bag of large marshmallows instead of mini, maybe 1 1/2 c chocolate chips. Turned out perfect! Easier to eat if you make it ahead of time, but its yummy eating it gooey too :) Bake crust 5 min before adding chocolate/marshmallows just for extra firmness.
S'mores Bars @ Allrecipes.com. Picture from Allrecipes too.
1 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup white sugar
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3 cups miniature marshmallows
--- DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine butter, sugar and graham cracker crumbs until well coated. Press half of crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Top with the chocolate chips, then the marshmallows. Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker mixture over the marshmallows and press down with a spatula. Bake in preheated oven 10 minutes, until marshmallows are melted. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Here's a recent picture of Ab & I at the Jr/Sr Banquet last weekend. Thank you to Reggie for this beautiful picture. A lot has been going on so it has been hard to blog more frequently but here's an update: -LPAO is still scheduled for May 5th. Just trying to get my already PAO'd hip ready cause it needs to be a bit stronger.
-Pre-Op is April 22nd (fun! new xrays)
-My brother and family are coming to town on April 22nd too! That's going to be so much fun, can't wait to see them all and will definitely take lots of pics of the kids together.
-Ab is getting his wisdom teeth out tomorrow(poor guy)
-It is allergy season again so... need I say more?
-Last Sunday I turned 25.... finally realizing I'm not 18 anymore, I think it just hit me. You'd think 2 hips failing would be an indication! HAHA It has been a great birthday week though, many outings and get-togethers with friends & family.
Well, that's all for now... Audrey's busy watching Sesame Street and I should go clean something:) Have a good weekend!
