Just barely hit the 12 week post-op mark and life is so good! Ditched the crutches altogether today for my appt. and Dr. Diab was impressed with how well I was able to walk. The Xrays looked great with the bones growing back and now I have the OK to live a normal life! That is.... until May when my other side will have a PAO. FUN FUN. Anyway, I can drive(tested it out by driving to PT and back) and can start doing a lot more exercises to strengthen and work on balance.
Praise God for how quick the recovery has been and for everyone who has helped me through the process.
On another note! Audrey doesn't have to wear her brace during the day anymore! She has to wear it at night to try and get her hip angles a little better, but doesn't have another checkup till she turns 2. We can't wait to see how she grows and gets stronger and ready to take those first few steps without holding on to her toy cart/table!
Have a good weekend! Perhaps its time for a pic of Audrey without the brace...will try to take a good one tomorrow. :)
